A new landmark of Dublin, The Spire towers above O'Connell Street. It has taken awhile to fit in beside the nearby GPO but is now a favorite of
Dublin residents. I took this photograph hunched down on my knees and looking up at the sky. I like the contrast of the shiny new Spire against the brickwork of the building. It is a symbol of modern Ireland but aslo reflects our past.
