Photograph of Blackrock Park Trees

Blackrock Park, Dublin

Blackrock Park has a been one of my favorite places to photograph for a long time. It has an usual island in the middle of the lake.

The islands purpose, i presume, is to provide a sanctuary for the wildlife in the area. There is a family of swans that live along the banks on the lake. WARNING....they are absolutely crazy snappy happy birds and would take the hand off you without hesitation!! They look elegant and harmless but venture too close and they will snap at you as i found out trying to get a close-up photograph of them!
